In the Lusatia there are so many possibilities for making a vacation: by bicycling, walking through nature or water sport activities for your active recreation. Very exciting, interesting sights and events are waiting for you in our historical towns and idyllic villages. But there is also a colorful art and cultural scene in the Lusatia. You can take part in the vital ancient customs and participate in our rich traditions or you can also have great fun during a lot of different attractive leisure activities.
Friends of the arts and culture can find a wide range of events. Whether classical or modern theater, regional music festivals or exciting exhibitions in different museums – whatever suits your interests!

Children are also heartily welcome in the Lusatia. They find different water and leisure parks, narrow-gauge railways and wide spaces for romping and playing games here. Our young guests can discover never-never lands, fight with dinosaurs, listen to exciting stories, climb on mountains and even go sledding in every season. And last but not least, they can also visit our neighboring countries of Poland and the Czech Republic. Lusatia is really a paradise for children!
Who doesn’t know the wonderful Spreewald with its great park areas designed by Prince Pückler or the rock formations in Zittau with its bizarre cliffs? But Lusatia has many other interesting things. Europe’s biggest man-made lake land area and Germany’s fourth largest Lakeland are here. During your visit you can witness its fantastic development and tourism opening.
