Regional
Lusatia is located here!
Lusatia which got its name from the Lusizern, a clan of the Slavic Sorbians, is located in the border triangle region between Poland – the Czech Republic – Germany. It is separated into the “Niederlausitz” (Brandenburg) and “Oberlausitz” (Saxony), but the borders are not exactly defined regionally or administratively. Actually, the Brandenburg and Saxony districts Bautzen, Dahme-Spreewald, Elbe-Elster, Kamenz, Loebau-Zittau, Oberspreewald Lausitz, Spree-Neisse, der Niederschlesische Oberlausitzkreis and the cities of Cottbus, Goerlitz and Hoyerswerda are part of the Lusatian region.
Lusatia emphasizes on traditions and innovations. It has space for economic development, living and tourism. On these pages you can see and come to love the varied landscapes, the economic incentives, the people and the culture of our Lusatia.
